Denise Foster and Cullentra House completed a treble at Navan today as impressive Gars De Sceaux credited his owner J.P. McManus and jockey Mark Walsh with doubles in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Hurdle.
The son of Saddler Maker sauntered to victory in the 2m7f race, winning eased down and impressively by nine lengths over Ragnar Lodbrok
Foster was today making her first racecourse appearance since taking the training license from Gordon Elliott at Cullentra House last Tuesday, and later reported “the further he went the better he travelled. He's going to be a lovely horse when he goes chasing.
“He'll get any distance, the more the better. He jumps well, he's tough and hardy. His future is chasing.”
Foster had earlier combined successfully with owner McManus and jockey Walsh to win the opening race with Coqolino
