There is plenty of Irish interest at today’s meeting in Ayr with Stuart Crawford and Noel Kelly both bringing over a team of runners to this eight-race card beginning at 11.50.
Crawford has six runners on the card while fellow north of Ireland trainer Noel Kelly has a trio of contenders.
Meanwhile, the ground is sure to be testing at Punchestown tomorrow following a further 8mm of rain overnight.
The going is currently described as heavy on the chase course and heavy, soft to heavy in places, on the hurdle course.
The forecast is for a further 7-10mm of rain tonight and mainly dry tomorrow.
Following 23mm of rain over the weekend, the going ahead of the Naas meeting on Thursday is heavy (chase) and soft to heavy (hurdle).
