Cork to inspect Cork is to hold a precautionary inspection tomorrow afternoon ahead of its meeting on Sunday after the southern track was hit with 35mm of rain in the last 24 hours. The course is currently raceable with the ground soft to heavy on the hurdle course and heavy on the chase course. The inspection will take place at 3pm. Meanwhile the going at Punchestown, where racing takes place both tomorrow and Sunday, is currently soft, soft to heavy in places. There is further rain forecast for today, heavy at times, although it is due to clear overnight and a dry day is expected tomorrow and Sunday.
