The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Herkel ridden by Andrew McNamara, placed, 1st, Tawaagg ridden by Ruby Walsh, placed 2nd and Grange Alainn ridden by Kevin Coleman, placed, 3rd.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judges placings, however they felt that Kevin Coleman had ridden carelessly and suspended him for 2 racedays. The stewards were not satisfied with the manner in which he gave his evidence and fined him 200 Euro.
