Winning trainer Mangan said afterwards, "That looked a tough race out there today. This lad was a good second behind Eugene O'Sullivan's Juveigneur at Kildorrery Point to Point, so the form was there really. We will probably bring him to Fairyhouse and Punchestown for the Hunters Chase."
Andrew Latta who got a heavy fall from Banntown Lady in this race has been taken to Kilkenny hospital with concussion.
