Co Waterford trainer Henry De Bromhead made journey to Kilbeggan worthwhile when landing The Hurley Family Kilbeggan Handicap Hurdle with 14/1 shot Clifton Debut under Andrew Lynch in the colours of The Rascals Racing Partnership.
Winning trainer De Bromhead said afterwards, "That was great, he's tough out. The key to him is the ground and we've had to wait 10 months to get it. One of the owners is Hugh Bleahan who we bought Sizing Europe from and I'm delighted for them all. We may have a look at a 3 mile race in Bellewstown or Tipperary and then maybe have a look at Galway all subject to ground."
