Rory Cleary completed a handicap double at Leopardstown today, including the featured E100,000 Nasrullah Handicap, as he steered Trossachs to win the Bulmers Live At Leopardstown Handicap for his employer Jim Bolger.
Cleary, earlier successful in the big-money race with the Sheila Lavery trained Magnetic North doubled his tally for the day when steering easy winner Trossachs to that gelding's own third consecutive recent win.
Trossachs' trainer Jim Bolger later commented “he’s an improver but he’d still have a bit to find to be Stakes class. He has a great temperament and loves his racing. Another couple of furlongs would not be a problem to him, and the handicapper will decide where we go next.
“It has been a good evening for Rory.”
