Christmas 'touch' for Dedigout followers

Favourite punters at Navan today received a timely Christmas gift when Dedigout landed a gamble (11/4 - 7/4f) to win the Meath Novice Hurdle for trainer Tony Martin and jockey Davy Russell.

The son of Bob Back made most of the running to eventually come home three and a half lengths ahead of runner-up Mart Lane

Afterwards Martin stated “Dedigout is a nice horse who likes winter ground and stays well. I think he’ll make a lovely chaser this time next year.”
