Poetic Choice (7/1) is now a dual winner over the mile trip at Dundalk after her victory under Robbie Downey in the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Handicap.
Twice on the mark when with Nick Littmoden cross-channel, here the Byron mare raced towards the back until making her ground two furlongs out.

Keith Clarke trains Poetic Choice for the Phoenix Bloodstock Syndicate and he said: "She's a smart filly and very consistent. Robbie gets on well with her as she's not straight-forward, and can often be slow at the start.
"She broke well tonight which was important and she was able to get into a nice rhythm."
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Appointment Only (GB), trained by John Joseph Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Stewards fined Keith Henry Clarke, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Poetic Choice (GB), the winner of this race, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91.
