Chimeric a Father's Day winner for Levins The second split of the 47-65 handicap went to Chimeric who came from off the pace under Donagh O'Connor to score at 14/1. Corballis Flyer made a bold bid from the front and was clear early in the straight but the winner gradually reeled him in to gain a three-parts of a length success with the first two well clear of the remainder. Winning trainer Johnny Levins said: "A mile and one is probably his ideal trip, but we sacrifice that for Gowran because he loves it here. He is very rarely out of the first five here. Every time we see a meeting here, we always look for a race for him. "I'm delighted for his owners, Mark and David Hopkins. They are a father and son from Cork and are big supporters of the yard. It's brilliant to give everyone a winner on father's day.  "He won in Newcastle earlier this year. It's a good stiff track and when they get racing early there the pace collapses. He gives away ground at the start and is always a late closer. He is a prisoner to a fast pace, if he doesn't get a fast pace, he doesn't get there. Newcastle really suited him and this place does as well." Quotes from Donal Murphy
