Chimeric saw Curragh based trainer Johnny Levins reach 100 domestic winners on the flat, when registering his third success of the year in Division ll of the Rose Hotel Handicap at Killarney.
Owned by Cork man David Hopkins and his son Mark, the six-year-old was following up a last time out win at Gowran Park. Prior to that, the gelding had also won for the pair at Newcastle in February.
Former National Hunt jockey Levins, who has been training for just over a decade, had already surpassed triple digits winners wise but that tally included both UK and jumps successes, as well as those on the flat in Ireland.
The Kildare man had one of his best seasons to date in 2022 when sending out 16 winners, including Prisoners Dilemma, who won four races as well as finishing second in Listed company at the Curragh.
Wednesday's win was a seventh of the current year for Levins, who has also enjoyed National Hunt success with Men Of Dreams in recent times.
