Charity evening at Cheltenham

Grand National winning rider Jason Maguire and legendary trainer Kim Bailey are just two of the big names taking part in an evening of entertainment in aid of cancer charity Cedars Amethyst Trust at the Montpellier Wine Bar in Cheltenham on Tuesday November 8.

The event takes place in the same week as the Paddy Power Open week (Nov 11-13) at Cheltenham Racecourse and will be hosted by The Times newspaper’s racing correspondent Alan Lee.

Jason Maguire will be available for a Q&A session to talk about his time working with Ginger and Donald McCain and his big win on Ballabriggs in the 2011 Grand National, while Kim Bailey, one of a select band of trainers to have won the Grand National, Cheltenham Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle, will also be in attendance.

The event is in aid of Cedars Amethyst Trust, a charity which provides free health and beauty treatments to men and women suffering from cancer throughout Gloucestershire.

Tickets for the event, which starts at 7pm on Tuesday November 8, cost £35 each and include dinner and the evening’s entertainment. For further information or to make a booking contact the Montpellier Wine Bar on 01242 527 774 or [email protected]
