Declan McDonogh added to his earlier gains on In My Pocket when doubling up at Limerick on Last Garrison to supply Kells, County Meath-based Nigel Carolan (36) with his first track winner when taking division one of the Ladbrokes Munster National Tomorrow Handicap.
Last Garrison (10/1) foiled a gamble on Ondamoura (13/2 into 7/2 favourite) by a length and three parts.
Owner/trainer/breeder Carolan said: "That's my first winner but I've ridden and trained point to point winners in the past. I'm delighted to get it as I've had the license too long but hard work has finally paid off.
"He's one of three horses I have, all are family owned, but I gave away his sister, The Nutcracker (dual winner), so this makes up for that!
"I felt he was a little flat and freshened him up after the last day, but it came as a surprise today. He is fairly decent when he tries his best."
