Sir Carno stormed clear from the second last to give Gordon Elliott a double on the card at Thurles this afternoon.
Jack Kennedy sat in behind the leaders on the 5/2 favourite and produced him to lead jumping the penultimate flight.
He soon asked his mount to quicken away and he was in total control when making a slight mistake at the final flight.
The Gigginstown gelding went on to record a 14 length victory and follow up his win at Punchestown late last month.
"I was a bit worried about the step up to three miles today but thankfully he stayed going well and did it nicely," said Elliott.
"The step up in trip definitely suited him there."
