Paul Carberry is set to return to action at Navan on Saturday after fracturing a collarbone while on a skiing holiday last month.

The former champion jump jockey, who has been on the sidelines for over six weeks, has also suffered some discomfort from bicep tendonitis with the flare up of an old shoulder injury.

Carberry has been riding out both at home and at Noel Meade’s yard, and his return is a timely one with the Cheltenham Festival just around the corner.
