Meath trainer Gillian Callaghan saddled her first winner under rules when Mount Benbulben took the bumper in fine style under Andy Duff.
The well-backed 5/2 second favourite, a point-to-point winner at Tinehely last month, quickened clear on the far rail over a furlong out for Duff to beat evens favourite Mozoltov by seven lengths.
Mrs Callaghan, whose husband Barry is Gordon Elliott's landlord at Capranny, trains a team of six just across the road from Elliott.
She only took out a licence in November, and her brother Greg Harford was a well-known amateur rider in the 1990's.
