While the second divide of the Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Handicap Chase was very much in the balance approaching the last, It'sallabouteve found another gear on the run-in and came home eight lengths to the good.

Placed on two of her last three starts, the Brendan Walsh-trained eight-year-old was sent off a 6/1 chance in the colours of Elizabeth Stack.

Settled in mid-division by amateur rider Cal Shine, the Doyen bay took closer order from four out and improved into a dispute of the lead with Crowsatedappletart on the approach to the straight.

While Crowsatedappletart appeared to be travelling best, he found little after a slight mistake at the last and had to settle for the runner-up berth under Shane Fitzgerald.

There was another length-and-a-quarter back to Fly De Magaudais (12/1) in third, while A Nod To Getaway who was returned the 5/1 favourite, could only manage fifth.

"I know she won a maiden hurdle and a bumper on soft ground but she wants good ground all the time and she got it today," Walsh reflected.

"Cal gave her a super ride and the 7lb helped as well. She jumped great.

"She'll tip away for the summer. We won’t run her on rock hard.

"That's just her fifth run over fences and she's still learning. She likes a bit of daylight and the ground is the key to her."

K.C. Sexton, rider of Druim Samhraidh trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

P.T. Enright, rider of The Eye Of Tulla trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount felt pressure from the outside on the first bend.

Enright, unplaced, A Nod To Getaway, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed fifth, Coco Lightning ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, placed sixth, and So Easy Way ridden by D. King, unplaced, where it appeared it got tight for room for some of the runners on the run to the first bend. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Shane Fenelon stated that he lined up on the outside, got a shout from his inside on the point of the bend and moved back out immediately after. D. King stated that he felt pressure from his outside. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he felt pressure from his outside. P.T. Enright stated that he felt pressure from his outside. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that he felt pressure from his outside and was forced to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Shane Fenelon, in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident with a circuit to go involving The Eye Of Tulla, ridden by P.T. Enright, unplaced, and So Easy Way, ridden by D. King, unplaced, where it appeared that it got tight for room and that So Easy Way may have clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. T Enright stated that he was unaware of any incident and did not feel anyone clip his heel. D. King stated that his mount was traveling strongly and took a false step at that point. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Farrokh (FR), trained by Barry Connell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
