Bull bounces back on return The Gordon Elliott-trained Roaring Bull made a winning return to action at Clonmel this afternoon when claiming the Prior Park Service Station Clonmel Hurdle. The Gigginstown gelding was a faller when last seen in action at Punchestown in April but jumped well today to land the two-miler. Davy Russell followed Chambord Du Lys before sending the 8/11 favourite into the lead before the second last. Capital Force tracked him through but couldn't find a way past Roaring Bull in the closing stages as the Milan gelding ran on strongly to post a two length success. Elliott said :- “That's grand to get it out of the way. He is a horse who was a little disappointing last season but has got a lot stronger this year and he might go chasing now. "It's grand to get his head back in front as he had been disappointing last season. He'll be ok." (Quotes by Thomas Weekes)
