Charle Brune completed a quick follow up success at Tipperary tonight with the minimum of fuss, running out an easy winner of the two-mile handicap hurdle on the card.
The Myboycharlie gelding had provided the Thurles-based handler Tom Shanahan with a first 'track' success when recording a facile win at Wexford yesterday afternoon.
He was sent to post the 9/4 favourite just over 24 hours later and followed up in style again.
Donagh Meyler was again on board and his mount won the early battle for the lead. He stretched clear after the third last and soon had his rivals at work.
A slight mistake at the second last didn't halt his momentum and he went on to record an effortless eight-length win. I'm Serious stayed on to claim the runner-up spot.
"As I said yesterday, the horse always ran keen and yesterday I said to jump him off (in front) and see what happens and it happened,” said Shanahan.
"He ate a good bit last night, drank his water and we gave him electrolytes and let him off this morning.
“He has started to settle now but I hunted him a good bit this spring - I have a pack of hounds for the Premier Harriers.
"I have horses running on the track for 30 years and other fellas would have given up years ago - that's my drug!"
