Blackmore completes quick double on Centurion Steel Rachael Blackmore completed a quick double in the first two races at Tramore as Centurion Steel (9/2) landed the Waterford Chamber Of Commerce Beginners Steeplechase. A winner over hurdles at Downpatrick last month, the Kayf Tara gelding was prominent throughout on his chasing debut and went on after the second-last fence to beat Secret Cargo (12/1) by two and three quarter lengths. The Gigginstown House Stud-owned 6-year-old is a half-brother to Willie Mullins’ Galway Plate runner-up Royal Rendezvous. Winning trainer Henry de Bromhead said: "I'm delighted with that. We always hoped that this might be his game. “He definitely appreciates the better ground and he did it well in the end. “Hopefully there will be a rated novice somewhere for him now. We will have a look and see. This race today was the one we were always going for." Quotes from Donal Murphy
