Fran Berry recorded a double at Tipperary after he won the concluding race on today’s card, the Bansha House Stables Handicap aboard the Pauline Gavin trained The Lady Granuaile at odds of 8/1.
Winning trainer Gavin said afterwards: “Things just didn’t go well for her at Galway. We thought the flatter track here would suit her better.”
“We will look for something similar for her in a few weeks time.”
Berry’s earlier winner came aboard Perfect Polly which landed the Abergwaun Stakes Listed Race for trainer Jim Ryan.
