We are in the middle of a rare short break in Irish racing at present but the action resumes at Bellewstown on Wednesday when the annual four-day July Festival meeting gets underway.

The warm spell of weather at present means the going is currently good, good to firm in places, on the hill of Crockafotha.

The weather forecast is mainly dry and watering is taking place.

There is also racing this week at Tipperary, on Thursday, and Wexford.

The going ahead of Wexford’s Friday evening meeting is also currently good, good to firm in places.
