Trainer Noel Glynn has Gold Cup ambitions for his Becauseicouldntsee which landed a gamble (7/1 - 4/1) when winning the concluding O'Keeffe's Marquee Hire Rathmore Ladies Bumper at Killarney this evening.
The son of Beneficial tracked the leaders before moving through to lead two furlong out, eventually scoring by two lengths from Ballinvassa
Co Clare based Glynn later revealed “Becauseicouldntsee could win the Gold Cup some day and although he is for sale, it would take a fair bit to buy him!”
He added “he's a fine big horse (17hh1) and he wont be a proper horse until he goes jumping.”
