The opening Axminster Curragh Carpets Handicap at the Curragh went to the Frank Dunne trained Barring Decree under a fine ride by Keagan Latham.
Latham who sat second for most aboard the 25/1 shot, moved through to pick up the lead from over two furlongs out.
The pair soon forged clear to record a two and a half length success.
It’s the sixth winner of the season for Latham who is attached to the Ger Lyons stable.
