Sbraase joined owner Ryan Turner and trainer Noel Kelly out of a Sligo claimer last week for 4,000 Euros. He gave an instant return on investment in the BetVictor Handicap at Ballinrobe.
After dwelling at the gates and racing towards the rear, the successful son of Sir Percy made up his ground in the final half mile.
The eight-year-old ultimately got there in the final hundred yards to triumph by three parts of a length in the hands of Oisin Orr. Khudha finished second for Mark McNiff and Donagh O'Connor.
"Everything went wrong because he was slow away," acknowledged Orr.
He elaborated: "I had no choice but to take my time and creep my way into it down the back.
"I had to come widest of all but he just done enough."
The Stewards informed Martin Fox, Authorised representative for John C. McConnell, trainer of Yo Tambien (GB), that their charge may be liable to suspension if there was a recurrence of her unruly behaviour where she refused to go to the start before being withdrawn by order of the Stewards.
