Bailerina makes it two from two The Willie Mullins-trained Supreme Bailerina won as her price suggested she might when powering away in the closing stages of the mares bumpers at Wexford. Silverpockets took them along in the two-miler but was headed six furlongs out by Dainty Diva. The new leader was stalked before the straight by the 8/13 hotpot and she moved on turning for home. Patrick Mullins soon sent the Norse Dancer mare for home and she galloped on strongly to score by 13 lengths from 25/1 shot Star Counsel, who stayed on for second in the closing stages. The winner was making it two from two having also scored on her debut at Limerick earlier in the month. “She was very good and she loved that ground,” reported Patrick Mullins afterwards. “She's very laid back racing which is a great asset for her to have. I'd say she will get a trip but she also has a good turn of foot. “Today was the plan and I'm not sure where she'll go next. The lads will have a lot of fun with her.” (Additional reporting by Donal Murphy)
