Back In Front for Bula

The 2003 Supreme Novices Hurdle winner Back In Front looks set to head back to Cheltenham next Saturday for the Bula Hurdle.

Edward O´Grady indicated the ´Bula´ as a likely target today saying, ´He will work on Wednesday and, if I´m happy with him, he will go for the Bula.´

Back In Front overcame a ten months absence when successful on the Flat at Navan in October before filling the runner-up spot behind Harchibald in the Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown.

The trainer was also happy with Pizarro´s seasonal debut yesterday when third to Chives in the Tommy Whittle Chase at Haydock. ´I was very pleased with Pizarro, and that was a good effort for his first run of the season. He will go for the Lexus (formerly the Ericsson) Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas but he may not be at his best until the ´Hennessy´ there in February.´
