I Siyou Baby secured a quick follow up win when claiming the Jockey Club Of Turkey Handicap at Leopardstown this evening.
The Siyouni filly was sent to post 2/1 favourite in the mile contest as she aimed to add to her cosy maiden victory at the Curragh on Sunday.
Mikey Sheehy produced her to lead a furlong from home today and she kept on well in the closing stages as Windsor Pass stayed on late to get within half a length at the line.
It was a double on the evening for O'Brien and he said:- “We hadn't intended on running but when she got such a rise for winning at the Curragh our hand was forced a little bit and I'm glad it came off.
“Mikey gave her a nice ride from the draw, he got a good position.
“She's progressing and hopefully she can continue on an upward curve.
“She'll definitely have a bit of time now. We'll look for something in about a month's time.
“I think she'll handle a bit of ease so she should be fine in the autumn. Obviously black-type would be the main aim towards the end of the season.”
