Asset gets Moving just in time Moveable Asset put a poor effort at Wexford last time behind him when getting up in the final stride to take the EY Rated Race. The five-year-old gelding, whose only previous success was in a maiden hurdle at this venue 12 months ago, came from an unlikely position to grab the victory. Manuka (3/1) set out to make all under Ben Curtis, and appeared set to hold on despite coming under pressure in the straight. However Seamie Heffernan had other ideas on Moveable Asset, and the easy-to-back 9/1 chance really got motoring in the final 100 yards to pip Manuka by a nose. Anshan Dreams (7/2) was a further four and a half lengths back in third. Winning trainer Willie Mullins said, “I was so disappointed with him at Wexford where I thought he would go very close. It was kind of his last chance today. “We’ll mix it with the flat and over jumps for the summer, and there should be another hurdle in him.” Additional reporting by Donal Murphy
