Apprentice Roche in Olympic form The Dick Brabazon trained Korbous made it five winners in six days for apprentice jockey Leigh Roche when winning the Follow Leopardstown On Facebook Apprentice Rated Race at Leopardstown today. Roche partnered three big handicap winners on Derby weekend at the Curragh on Saturday and Sunday and followed up with his second winner this week on Korbous, who held off Our Max to score by a length. One to two favourite Artistic Integrity, successful at Gowran on Tuesday, disappointed to finish a well held third. Brabazon later stated “Korbous has very patient owners who waited two years on him. I thought he was a good horse the day he won but everything went wrong with him from his head to his tail! “They were all small things but good owners persevere.
