Angel In The Sky gained a second career win for owner/trainer Luke Comer in the opening DundalkStadium.com Handicap (div I) at Dundalk today, scoring under jockey Sean Davis.

The daughter of Sir Prancelot's previous win was at Bellewstown last September and today raced keenly and eventually prevailed by three parts of a length from Lariat

Comer's assistant Jim Gorman later said “she ran very well here the last day in a better sort of race. She’s been very consistent winning at Bellewstown and finishing second up the Curragh.

“A mile and a half is her trip and she stays that well. She’s a gutsy mare.

“Hopefully the handicapper isn’t too hard on her and she’ll be back here again.”
