Almanack made all for a convincing success in the opening juvenile maiden at Dundalk.
The 4/5 favourite bounced out in front in the five furlong contest and kept on well to settle matters in the closing stages.
Wayne Lordan asked his mount for an effort over a furlong out and the Haatef colt ran on strongly to post a length-and-a-quarter success over Truly Madly
The Tommy Stack-trained winner had finished a promising third on his debut here a fortnight ago.
"He did it well and knew his job better today," said Lordan afterwards.
"He's one of the better two-year-olds I've ridden this season. He's still a bit green. Six furlongs wouldn't be an issue for him."
Owner David Slater, from Newcastle in England, has three horses in training with Stack and added:-
"Fozzy (Stack) said the horse had plenty of ability. We thought he would win first time but he just ran green on the wide outside."
