All Change At Top Stables

The defection of Michael Kinane from Ballydoyle has caused a domino effect in the top yards.

John Oxx confirmed last night that Kinane will now replace Johnny Murtagh as his retained stable jockey.

Murtagh has had a well documented battle with his weight and according to Oxx had considered quitting the game.

Murtagh will however continue next season and Oxx has not ruled out usuing the rider when he is available and can do the weight.

Fran Berry will remain as the stable´s second jockey.

Jamie Spencer has confirmed that he will replace Kinane at Ballydoyle. He was successful aboard Brian Boru for the yard in the English St. leger in September.
