Dundalk's final two races were won by outsiders today with Chummie s 40/1 win in the opening division of the Bar One Racing Guaranteed Multiples Handicap being following by Airgead s 16/1 finale success.

Airgead raced prominently and defeated The Bog Bank by a length and three-parts, with the success thus ending a losing spell stretching to Leopardstown in July 2020 - when he provided today's same jockey Shane Foley with a personal treble.

This evening, winning owner/trainer Prunella Dobbs reported “he’s a seven-year-old and you never quite know how he’s going to run. He’s inconsistent but he pulls it out every now and again.

“For me he’s great as he’s actually my only Flat horse at the moment so hopefully I might get another few now. We’ll keep going with him for the winter now.”
