A plan comes together for Dash D'or Conor Hoban and Dash D'or (10/1) closed out the Lengthen The Odds With BetVictor Handicap in Tipperary by half a length for handler Kieran Cotter. The six-year-old mare made the best way home in the final furlong of this sprint and was always holding the even-money-favourite Dapper Power, who gave best by half a length. Kieran Cotter said: They’re some pair of fillies to have (her and Polly Douglas). She got trouble at Naas and fell and got hurt and we ran her back probably a bit too soon. But she did a bit of work last week and we thought she was really back on song. “The ground was only a bit of a worry, but it was the first time she had 8-04 on her back, and she got through it well enough. She’s a nice filly and when I saw the favourite (Dapper Power) for the race was the one we beat up in Down Royal (with Polly Douglas), I knew if she was in form at all she would beat her. “We’ve worked her on testing ground before and she seemed to go alright. She’s had a bit of trouble with her wind and today is the first day we ran her in a straight rubber bit. "Conor knows her well and he was back on board her today and got a nice clear run with her. When things go right for her, she’s smart. Hopefully we’ll go to the Curragh on Derby Day for one of the big sprints there.” Additional reporting by Thomas Weekes
