The market principals battled out the finish to the concluding Munster INH Flat Race, with A Law Of Her Own coming out on top under Declan Lavery for Peter Fahey.
The winner of a point-to-point on debut at Broughshane in May when in the care of Matthew Flynn O'Connor, she made her debut for current connections at the Galway Festival, finishing down the field.
Fourth, third and second on her three starts since, the daughter of Lawman was sent off a 3/1 chance this afternoon in the colours of the G & B Partnership.
Never far off the pace, the bay victor improved into a share of the lead on the approach to the straight and edged to the front inside the final furlong, going on to prevail by a length.
.Little Soiree, who was sent off the 5/6 favourite, couldn't match the winner close home and had to settle for second under Patrick Mullins for his father Willie.
Returned at 66/1, the Tim Doyle-trained Answering ran a huge ran to finish third, another two-and-three-parts of a length away in third.
"She has been very consistent from day one and has improved away," Fahey said.
"I knew I was turning her back out quickly but the way she travels in her races, I wanted to come here and we got away with it.
"She battled hard and I think she will be a lot better over hurdles. She is a point-to-point winner but has a Flat pedigree and whatever she does now, the lads will have a great summer next year as she can mix between Flat and jumps.
"I'll see where we are in a few weeks time as regarding running her again before the ground turns."
