Kylecrue and Donagh Meyler weren't for passing in the P & D Lydon Handicap Chase at Ballinrobe as the Gold Well gelding's owner and trainer John Ryan completed a 71/1 double.
The blinkered nine-year-old defied top-weight with a made most three parts of a length win over Fergiethelegend to add to the earlier gains of his stable companion Mic Milano (Tom Brett rode).
Ryan remarked in the aftermath: "He'll go for the Guinness now at Punchestown (handicap chase on the Wednesday at the Festival) and as he's in the form of his life he could take some stopping.
"He doesn't do a stroke but he's so hardy."
D.J. Mullins, rider of Coolnagorna Giggs trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.
