7-up for the horse and pints for the new owners Fleurys Fort won his seventh race and his first since November 2018 when triumphing in the Brownstown Head Handicap Hurdle at Tramore. Ryan Treacy helped with his three pound claim off the top-weight, and Leslie Young’s charge built on recent good efforts, including when third at Kilbeggan just last Saturday. He went a couple of places better on this occasion by half a length from Daisy’s Hollow prompting Treacy to say: “He has been a great servant. He is under new ownership, a couple of lads from Limerick have him, and it's an awful pity they can't be here today. They would have really soaked up this win. “I think they are back in the pub having a few pints this evening. Hopefully he'll be able to win again and they'll be able to come on course and enjoy it. "That's five times I've won on him now and Leslie had him here in great order. He was running well recently and he deserved that today. I've three winners left to get now before I lose my claim."
