Tom Madden doubled his Dundalk score tonight when winning race four on the Conor O'Dwyer-trained Pulsating (12/1).
Pulsating was making her debut for O'Dwyer in this opening divide of the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap, and she was backed from 16/1 into 12/1.
Madden, earlier successful for Marjorie Fife in the opener on Red Charmer here was patient on Pulsating and he produced her perfectly to beat Guanabara Bay by half a length.
"She hasn't been with me that long, she came from the claimer in Laytown," said O'Dwyer.
"That's her 54th run so she's been a sound filly all her life, obviously.
"We didn't do a whole pile with her and just let her freshen up. We said we'd come here and see what we had so I don't know what the plan is yet.
"We were thinking of the fillies claimer here next Friday night for her but after that we'll have a look.
"She's maybe high enough handicap wise but she's a fun filly and she's paid for now so we'll see what happens."
