25/1 shot Wall not for catching Front-running tactics worked a treat on Vikki Wall as she sprang a 25/1 shock in the second division of the seven-furlong handicap. James Ryan soon had his mount at the head of affairs and she had her rivals in trouble when kicking a couple of lengths clear early in the straight. The Ian Donoghue-trained filly galloped on strongly in the closing stages to post a four-and-three-quarter length win over 15/8 favourite Atbay. It was a first career success for the Tamayuz filly and the winning rider said:- “It worked out perfectly, she got an easy lead and I just filled her lungs around the bend. “As soon as we got off the bend I kicked away and we got a length or two on the others. In fairness she toughed it out well. “She was happy out in front, she got it easy, and when I kicked off the bend I thought it would take something going well to beat me. “I'm delighted and thanks very much to Ian.”
