that was good even if I say so myself!. The bottomless ground and making the running wouldn't be ideal but it was a good performance and he'll go straight for the World Hurdle now.

We thought he was a goner [due to injury]. I've no plans, we'll see how he is in the morning. He'll stay hurdling this season. It's just great to have him back. He looks a chaser in the making. Two and a half miles would be his trip. He wouldn't mind going further.

He was workmanlike but Davy was happy with him which is the main thing,. He'd appreciate better ground but what can you do at the moment. There was an older/stronger horse in second there.

that was grand! I don't know how good a race it was but he couldn't do any more and it was a nice introduction to the game for him. Today is his first day out (since his point to point) and it's all a bit new for him. He was fresh today, jumped well and I couldn't be happier with him.
