FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Top-weight ALONZO appears the safest option. A brother to Group 3 winner Hans Andersen, the Frankel colt came in for strong market support at Cork in April, finishing fourth in the race won by subsequent Listed victor Birdman. The selection since made the breakthrough at Sligo and looks reasonably well-treated off an initial mark of 80. Lady Doris is an obvious danger. Successful at Navan on her most recent start, she is upped in trip now to a mile-and-a-half and it'll come as no surprise if she manages to follow-up. Cornahilt Soldier is another up in trip, just a week on from winning by seven-lengths over seven furlongs at Down Royal. In truth, none of the seven here can be safely ruled out.
