Crosse, Geological, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, and Skontonovski (GB), ridden by R.P. Whelan where it appeared that Blackcastle Storm (GB) and Skontonovski (GB) both checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned
In his evidence W.J. Lee stated that it got tight in front of him when Geological moved across and then a few strides later he received further pressure from his outside. R.P. Whelan stated that he ran short of room when W.J
Lee took back his mount Blackcastle Storm (GB). S.M. Crosse stated that he was upsides Skontonovski (GB) when receiving pressure and in turn he ricochet onto the horses on his inner. D.W. O'Connor stated that the race got tight in front of him and he was trying to avoid clipping heels and minding Blackcastle Storm (GB) on his inner. Adam Caffrey stated that he got pressure from his outside and was unable to do anything at that point. G.M. Ryan stated that he felt that he was clear of the horses immediately behind him when moving across to the running rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
