After race at Galway Tue, 30th Jul, 2024 (1st)
He missed last year through injury and we got him back at the end of the year but he just loves this place. When he ran here last October, he got wiped out of it and got no luck but today we got luck. Ronnie (Ronan Whelan) gave him an absolute peach of a ride from stall 14, managed to come down the inside and won the race for us.

That's magic. Gavin was super on him and I'm delighted for Jean (Bird, owner). He's a tough horse, a genuine horse and I'm just delighted to have my first winner in Galway. I can't believe it. He had to give away the penalty the last day to No Patience and turned it around today.

After race at Killarney Tue, 17th May, 2022 (1st)
I don't know what happened to him the last day, it was just one of those things with racing and horses and you don't know what they're thinking. He got a fright in the stalls and the stalls' handlers had to come in and help but it was just got a fright and he is in no way un-genuine. He jumped out fine today, did everything the way he usually does and won well. The rain came in time and Gavin gave him a great ride. He is a soft ground horse so we don't know how far more we can go with him and might have to wait until the ground gets soft again.

After race at Fairyhouse Tue, 20th Oct, 2020 (1st)
He grows a leg on that ground and it’s his first time in a 45-65. Gavin was great on him and it wasn’t the strongest of races. He’s a young progressing horse. There is very little else for him and we are just grateful that this meeting was put on. The conditions suited him. The owner Fearghal Hogan will knock good fun out of him. He boards mares and does livery at his place in Rathangan.
