Approximately 1 ½ furlongs from the line, John L Sullivan (IRE), unplaced, shifted slightly right- handed, moving Game Management (GB), unplaced, marginally off intended line, which caused the winner, Yaaser (IRE), to become short of racing room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

The winner Yaaser (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ayr on 19 September where the gelding finished eleventh of thirteen runners, beaten by 5 ½ lengths.

The representative of Jim Goldie’s explanation that the gelding settled better today, was noted.

Yaaser (IRE) was routine tested.

Following the race, David Allan reported that Jewel Maker (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong; Joanna Mason reported that This Years Love (GB), unplaced, ran too free; and Clifford Lee reported that End Zone (GB), placed fifth, missed the break.
