The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Geological, ridden by D.W
O'Connor, placed fifth, No Needs Never, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed fourth and Rhydwyn, ridden by L.F
Roche, placed second, where it appeared that No Needs Never ran short of room and had to check off heels
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judges placings and they took no further action. M. P. Sheehy was accompanied by Mr. Brendan Powell at this enquiry
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Woody Creek (GB), trained by J.A.Stack, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
For three years old and upwards that since 1st July 2019 have not won a Listed or Group race
