The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Glamorously, ridden by S. Foley, placed second, and Veracidad, ridden by M.W Hassett, placed third where it appeared Glamorously received a bump. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that his mount was a little unbalanced when she received a bump. M. W. Hassett stated that his mount went left and he probably should have straightened her earlier. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M. W

Hassett in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays

J.A. Powell, rider of Excel In Space, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount moved badly

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Si Senior, trained by Patrick Magee, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

R.P. Cleary, rider of Si Senior, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

An extended handicap for two years old only (80 = 9st 12lbs)
