Whearty, placed fourth, and Facethepuckout, ridden by L.F. Roche, placed first, where it appeared Lust ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C
T. Keane stated that his race was run when he ran out of room. W. J. Lee stated that he rolled slightly left. K. G
Kennedy stated that things got a bit tight. R. Whearty stated that his mount leaned left off the rail but he did all he could to keep straight. L. F. Roche stated that he came in slightly as the horses funnelled. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
