The Starter reported that Think Climate (GB) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Jane Chapple-Hyam was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Sam James, the rider of Think Climate (GB) was unseated leaving the stalls.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no other horse or rider was involved and the incident was caused by the gelding jumping awkwardly and making contact with the left gate after the stalls opened, unbalancing James, causing him to become unseated.
The Stewards were satisfied that Think Climate (GB) was deemed a runner.
Rounding the first bend, a riderless Think Climate (GB) ran wide inconveniencing the winner, Equatorial (USA) which was carried off its intended line.
On the run to the line, Ararat (IRE), placed fourth, raced in restricted room when awkwardly placed inside the heels of a riderless Think Climate (GB), which was drifting left-handed.
