That's him for the season. He has been busy and has gotten quicker and sharper with racing. He had a good start, he winged the gates and was able to get across. I think that was the winning of it as he controlled it from there. He has a very good attitude, we've asked him a few questions and it is great to finish off the season like that. He is big, tall and angular and will be a nice four year old to have in the sprint handicap division, up to seven furlongs. He handles most ground and is very versatile and straightforward. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jon Riggens, trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

S.M. Crosse, rider of Jon Riggens trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race

W.J. Lee, rider of Moss Tucker trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped to the right and quick out of the starting stalls

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Missemma trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was green out of the starting stalls

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the area between the starting stalls and the marker poles involving Moss Tucker, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, Queens Carriage, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed fifth, Shelly Banks, ridden by J. Coen, placed fourth and Missemma, ridden by M.A. Gallagher, unplaced, where it appeared that some horses failed to keep a straight course and this resulted in tight riding. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence J. Coen stated that he had received a bump and stumbled a stride later. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount jumped to the right out of the starting stalls. W.J. Lee stated that his mount was impeded by a faulty starting gate at the Curragh, a fact which he reported on the day. He felt that his mount remembered this incident and jumped to the right out of the starting stalls today and caught him off balance. M.A. Gallagher stated that his mount received a bump and got lit up. J. Coen gave his evidence in the presence of Eamonn O'Connell for whom he rode. Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 8st 6lbs
